Franco-Korean brand are famed for their BB and CC creams, so I was very excited to try out this latest launch. Here’s the lowdown on Erborian CC Eye Radiance Eye Contour Cream. I have photos and swatches.

So Erborian are saying that CC Eye is like the CC cream only better, so that sounds pretty good. I love the CC although sometimes it comes up a little warm on my skin, so I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. I had a little play on the back of my hand and the orange tones that can show on my skin with the CC weren’t there, so I went ahead and got it on my face.

Erborian CC Eye – Clair Swatch
The CC Eye comes in two shades, Clair & Dore. I have shade Clair here:

It comes out white and then as you blend it adjusts itself to a skin tone.
Before & After
So I thought I’d show you this on bare skin because I am more than likely going to use this under makeup as it claims to work like a primer to make things you use on top last longer.
Here’s the before pic:

Here it is on:

I think this does a really good job of brightening up the darkness and covering the bluish tones under my eyes. It also does a good job of neutralising any discolouration on the lids.
This could be enough coverage for some people, but I find it a little matte for the fine lines around my eyes and in a ideal world I’d like the finish to be a bit dewier. Having said that, I think you can get away without setting it, so if you’re a powder-phobe like me, this should do the trick.
I like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away concealer over the top which has the dewy finish that I really like. The Erborian CC Eye makes a great base for concealer and does help to make anything you use on top last a bit longer. It’s also pretty good on any other areas of the face that need a bit of coverage. So if you’re in a rush, you could use a bit all over after moisturiser.
