There’s a new addition to the Elizabeth Arden lip line up which brings us a softer take on the dark lips trend that often only the brave can pull off. It’s a real little beauty called the Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Smoky Plum Lipstick. Here’s a quick look at it.

The lipstick is a moisturising formula that uses Volulip that hydrates the lips and locks in moisture.

It promises 2o hours of moisturisation which is quite a claim! I haven’t tested that claim but I can say that Smoky Plum feels absolutely gorgeous on the lips – so comfortable and silky.

It’s such a good shade. Deep yet soft and super wearable. I think I’ll be wearing this with really light eye makeup and let all the emphasis stay on the lips. I think it’s actually quite a Kylie Jenner shade, in the best possible way.
