Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser Gradual Tan Face Moisturiser Review

The latest launch from Elemis is a fabulous gradual tanning range and it includes Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser Gradual Tan Face Moisturiser, and Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Body Lotion Gradual Tan Body Moisturiser.

So far I have tested out the Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser Gradual Tan Face Moisturiser and I am an instant fan.

I used it on Saturday in place of my moisturiser and it felt beautiful. In fact, I would never have guessed it was a tanning product at all as it was so hydrating and moisturiser and left a lovely glowy finish on the skin. Here’s a photo just after application and before applying makeup.

It created a great base for makeup and I completely forgot I had applied it. And I really did forget about it until I got up on Sunday to find a lovely, soft and natural looking glow on my skin:

I am shiny because I just finished my morning beauty routine and was all freshly moisturised but I was so pleased with the results after just one application. Some gradual tanners are so wimpy and barely have any effect at all until a good few days, but this one gets straight on with it. It is still really subtle and I didn’t have to worry about how I applied it. I just popped it on like a normal moisturiser with no worries about extra blending.

The Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser Gradual Tan Face Moisturiser is enriched with Vegetan derived from wheat and this is the ingredient that create the colour on the top layer of the skin. Rice bran oil ensures that the skin feels nourished and smooth. Evodia Fruit Extract boosts luminosity and brightness and helps to create a great makeup base. Anti-oxidant green tea extract and ginger water work to even out skin tone and texture.

Along with this there’s peach, bergamot and orange oil with rose and ylang ylang to ensure it smells absolutely beautiful.  It has everything you want from a day cream plus a gorgeous bronze glow too! I am going to be using this a few times a week for sure.

I haven’t tried the Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Body Lotion Gradual Tan Body Moisturiser yet but I am giving it a whirl today and will let you know! I love Elemis body lotions so I have high hopes for this one.
