Candles are my weakness – I seem to be physically incapable of passing a shop that sells them without dragging the other half in and leaving with half the shop.  I am seriously hoping that Santa is aware of this passion for little jars of scented wax and that there’s a candle in my stocking this year.  Candles make a great Christmas gift, after all, what girl doesn’t want her home to smell of exotic blends of nose tingling notes?  A gift set of candles makes an even more ideal Christmas gift – why have one when you can have three?

The presentation of this set is gorgeous.  The candles are housed in a chic white presentation box that has the brand name embossed on the top with a very subtle snakeskin effect. On the side there is beautiful silver detailing. It’s touches like this that make this the ideal present for a candle addict like myself.

Inside the box, there are three premium mini ECOYA candles in a selection of their signature scents.  The presentation of this set is just so lovely. As soon as you open the lid of the box and see the three candles sitting there, you know this is something a little bit special.

Each candle is housed in a glass jar and comes with a metal lid that has the ECOYA logo on the top.  Whilst they are obviously a smaller size than the regular candles, (these are 80g each), they are big enough to give you a good few hours of burn time, which is enough to decide on whether the scent is for you.

There are three different candles included in the set – each with quite a sweet scent.

French Pear

“The essence of a crisp, tree-ripened pear is captured and blend with a hint of the creamiest vanilla.  This sophisticated and rich combination is then infused with star anise for a scent akin to freshly baked apple crumble.”

Lotus Flower
