If you love acids, this will be completely up your street! Here’s the lowdown on the Ecooking Peeling Mask. It has developed a cult following and for good reason because it is a super effective glow giver!
This brand has been selling really well since it arrived in the UK. It launched in 2015 and has grown huge in a really short time. There are almost 500 stores in Denmark, which is practically half the size of London alone in terms of population. We are pretty much talking Boots-style domination here.
Ecooking has grown so fast because it’s all natural, super effective and very reasonably priced. This is a brand that’s ticking all of today’s boxes. They use no outer packaging, all the plastic is recycled and recyclable, and the ingredients are super active and of the highest quality.
It’s a bit of a crazy name and one that I think consumers will need to get used to, but basically, E is for Eco and the cooking part is down to the fact that Tina, the founder cooked up the first core products in her kitchen. When you think about that, it starts to make a bit more sense.
One of the best sellers is the Ecooking Peeling Mask, which is already selling really well here in the UK. So if you need to get your glow on, this will really do the trick. It’s a good idea to start slowly with this one as it uses three acids to exfoliate the skin, and is pretty potent.

This isn’t the most fragrant of products, but it smells like it works! And it did indeed work for me. All you do is apply a thin layer onto clean, dry skin, leave it for 4-6 minutes and then rinse it off. I was warned that it can make the skin red although I didn’t really experience this as my skin is quite accustomed to acids. It is best to use it before bed, just in case.
If it does make your skin red, this is perfectly fine and it should return to normal after an hour or two. It’s good to use a really nourishing product straight after.
I could feel a light, pleasant tingle and it left my skin feeling so soft and smooth, and literally gleaming. You can use the ECooking Peeling Mask up to once a week and I will definitely be incorporating it into my treatment routine.
It is £37 and available at Cult Beauty now. Also if you are looking for a super hydrating, anti-ageing serum packed with Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides, the Ecooking Super Serum is excellent!
