Just getting around to featuring another of my US Sephora purchases here and this is the Dr Jart BB Bounce Beauty Balm. It’s a skin base product of the cushion foundation ilk! There was lots and lots of chat about cushions a few months ago, but I am not sure if everyone is still as excited about them now?

I have got a lot of base products and I like lots of them for different reasons. I like this one because I love the coverage which is medium to full but with a relatively natural finish. I find it especially good on my enlarged pores (which I hate!!) and the finish is soft matte and buildable.

But back to the product itself. As I said, it is in the style of the cushion foundations but doesn’t have any actual sponge like the Lancome Miracle cushion or the KIKO version, both of which I like. This format is more of a thicker, creamier consistency contained by a mesh cover that allows the product to dispense.

It has the same kind of sponge, however, as the other cushions I have seen.

I like this because for my skin, it takes minimal powdering and it’s great for touching up.
It’s not my favourite base because it’s not as radiant as I’d like to be, but it’s certainly something I’d like in my handbag for touch ups on the go.
I love that it has SPF30 and anti-ageing properties including hydrolyzed collagen and pomegranate extract to firm and tighten. It also has grapeseed oil and arbutin to brighten and hydrate and it certainly feels hydrating without making my skin shiny.
You can find Dr Jart BB Bounce Beauty Balm at Sephora in the US. I paid 48$. It isn’t available in the UK but you can order it from the Amazon Luxury Beauty site HERE. I price tag is very high, however, at over £62.
