My Review of Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Pro Facial Steamer

As I said at the top, I was desperate to try out this steamer. I love a bit of steam. If I have ever had a professional facial that involved steam, it has just elevated the experience so much in terms of how relaxing it is.

Facial steaming is like gentle tickles on the face and feels like a lovely warm hug to me. The steam that the Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Pro Facial Steamer produces is just perfect! It is soft and soothing and you can really feel it getting to work.

I love that this device has two nozzles where the steam comes out, so you get a really even coverage over the whole face, rather than steam blasted at one area.

Even on the higher setting, (I do everything on the highest setting) the steam still feels really gentle and soothing which must be down to how fine the steam is. It’s comfortable to breath and relax and I love that it turns itself off after the maximum 15 minutes is up.

It leaves your complexion feeling invigorated and prepped for the next steps in your routine. This is the perfect pre-mask step.

I can really feel how decongesting this is, and the areas of my skin on the sides of my chin, which can sometimes be a little bumpy, feel noticeably smoother straight after using this.

Skincare goes on like a dream afterwards, and the skin glows. Also, if you’re not up for the full 15 minutes, Dr Dennis Gross says you can just do 3 minutes a day instead.

You need to place it on a hard surface to work, as it has a safety button underneath which deactivates the device if it falls over. If you want to steam with the unit on your lap, then I suggest popping it on a hardback book.

I am loving it. I actually used it before my LED mask at the weekend and they work together beautifully.
