You know when you smell a fragrance for the first time and you’re instantly obsessed? Well that is exactly how I feel about Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea. It is absolutely delicious. It makes me breathe in deeply and close my eyes and just really enjoy the moment. It has had quite an incredible effect on me!

So! Panarea is a beautiful island off the coast of Sicily and it is known as the island of love. Let your mind go there and you’re halfway there to understanding this fragrance. It is soft, seductive and warming, yet sweet and fresh at the same time. It kind of has everything…in a good way not a busy way.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea – The Notes
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea opens with Bergamot which is exactly what got me hooked from the very first second. I adore Bergamot – it is uplighting and fresh and just makes me feel really happy. Alongside it is the soft sweetness of pear. This fades away to the middle notes of jasmine and orange blossom which are also favourites. I have loved jasmine for a long time but fell in love with orange in fragrance the first time I smelt Tom Ford’s Rive D’ambre.
The smooth creaminess of the fragrance comes from Ambergris, Patchouli, Tonka Beans and Warm Musk. It is absolute heaven. These notes last on the skin so beautifully and it feels warms and comforting and sensual. I am really obsessed!
Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea Eau de Toilette 25ml is £39.00 and 50ml is £49.00. Find is at Boots. They are running a free gift with purchase right now.
