My Review of Dior Rouge Dior Forever Liquid

Highlights
- Easy to apply
- Feels lightweight on the lips
- Set quickly for smudge-proof long wear
- Resists transfer even when wearing a mask
I am really loving this new lip launch from Dior. The formula is super elegant, and feels thin and weightless as you apply, yet delivers instant colour impact. The finish is matte, but not at all flat – there’s a really natural luminosity.
The doe-foot applicator is excellent. It has a reservoir that deposits the perfect amount of product, and it is perfectly shaped to line and define the lips effortlessly.
Once you allow it to dry – Dior say to let it set for at least 15 minutes – and once it’s dry, it won’t transfer. I kissed my hand after 15 minutes and nothing came off.
Swatching was actually quite tricky because the colour sets so well and is very hard to get off1
I tested 100 Forever Nude out and about with a mask, and while I had a bit of the regular transfer of my skin base, there was absolutely nothing from the lipstick.

I also tested the Dior Rouge Dior Forever Liquid in 999 Forever Dior, which is the most perfect statement lip. I wore this one at home, so no mask wearing, but it was really long lasting. It does fade a little in the centre of the lips with food and drink throughout the day, but it’s a very natural fade. I am really happy with how this performs.
It’s easy to apply and feels weightless, with no dry sensation. Plus you can get a lovely crisp line, without lip liner, if you can’t be bother to do the whole thing.
Although I must confess, I also used 100 with the 100 Contour liner* (amazing lip liner!!) and the lips looked much fuller. Either works though!
The brand new Dior Rouge Dior Forever Liquid is £32 and is available at:
If you love a matte lip, I highly recommend these.
