I love essences and lotions and have been using this two ways. The first way is as a toner on a cotton pad to make sure my skin is completely free from the last traces of impurities and cleanser. The second is for boosting hydration where I take a few drops in the palms of my hands and press it into the skin before serum and moisturiser.
It feels beautiful on the skin – really refreshing and hydrating, and I love that it has a prebiotic infusion which is great for skin health. It really boosts the plumpness and softness of the skin if you use it before your regular products. It’s pretty good at making pores look less visible too, because it has a very subtle mattifying effect thanks to the mineral powders it contains. It’s a lovely addition to my routine, especially in the morning. I have still been using my Caudalie essence in the evening after cleansing, although you can use it day and night.
