What is Dermalogica BioLumin-C Gel Moisturizer?
This is a beautifully light gel-moisturiser that works to brighten, hydrate, and smooth the skin:

Key Ingredients
This new formula is packed with ingredients to perform a range of different skin care actions:
Boosted Vitamin C
Dermlaogica’s ultra-stable Vitamin C complex, featured in the Biolumin C franchise, has been boosted with the latest biotechnology. This makes it more potent as the vitamin C is recycled and reactivated to boost skin impact.
Squalane
The moisturiser is powered by sugar cane-derived Squalane which is an amazing emollient for hydrating and moisturising the skin.
5 different types of Hyaluronic Acid
This blend is designed to deliver long lasting, multi-depth hydration and help minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to 5 different molecular weights of Hylauronic Acid.
Verbascum Thapsus Extract (also known as Bioluminescence flower)
This works to turn the energy from light rays into visible light, to create instant luminosity.
Phytic Acid and Pumpkin Enzymes
Gentle exfoliation to renew and smooth the skin for more even tone.
How To Use It
The Dermalogica BioLumin-C Gel Moisturizer is designed to replace your regular moisturiser.
You can use it along, or after your serum and it can be slotted into any regime. However, if you already use Dermalogica’s Dermalogica BioLumin-C Serum and Eye Cream, you can add this into your Vitamin C regime to super boost everything and add in a mega-shot of hydration.
Alternatively, you can use it alone, as it is super hydrating and is power-packed with ingredients to deliver a range of skin benefits including brighter, more radiant skin.
If your skin is super dry, you may want to layer a thicker cream over this to seal in the goodness.
I use two pumps, which is ideal to flood the skin with hydration and give it an instant glow.
Remember to follow with a good SPF for daytime. I love Dermalogica’s Prism Protect SPF30.

This is a really beautiful moisturiser. It is super light, yet it packs a major punch of hydration. It smells amazing, and feels so fresh and soothing on the skin, and because it instantly gives skin a gorgeous juicy look, it’s pretty hard not to fall in love with it straight away.
I have been using this over serum, but in all honestly, it also works perfectly well on its own, and this fact makes it super easy to fit into any skincare regime.
Its light texture means it sits well over a range of other products, and particularly well under SPF during the day, which is absolutely crucial for me. I am working so hard to improve the evenness of my skin, so I need products that harmonise with all SPFs.
This is such a gorgeous do it all product, so if you’re looking to really boost hydration and address skin dullness, I don’t think you can go wrong with this.
