I have the brand new Decorte AQ Foundation here to show you. The full name is AQ Radiant Glow Lifting Liquid Foundation and so of course I was interested! It is part of the latest innovations and additions to the AQ skincare range and there’s nothing I love more than skincare infused makeup. Here’s what you need to know.

I was extra keen to try out this new Decorte AQ Foundation because I obsessed over their previous complexion launch, the Decorte Sheer Brilliance Soft Lifting Tint. I already love this brand’s skin ethic and this foundation promises more skin perfecting coverage.

What is Decorte AQ Foundation Like?

The AQ range is an innovative collection of uniquely hybrid formulas, which work to bridge the gap between skincare and cosmetics. This new AQ Radiant Glow Lifting Liquid Foundation is one of seven base products designed to look and feel like skin. All the products are formulated with the same luxurious textures as Decorté’s existing AQ skincare line which is super exciting!

• Infused with the calming and hydrating properties of White Birch Water
• Lightweight base formula leaves skin visibly revitalised and firmer looking

So what I was most excited about with this foundation is the serious skincare element. Decorte are masters of clear, glowing skin, and every product I have tried from their various skincare ranges them has been sublime.

I have seven of the nine shades to show you. The shades names and numbers are a little confusing, so please forgive me if the order is strange.

Here is 351 Cool Ivory, 301 Warm Ivory, 401 Rose Ivory:

202 Golden Ochre, 302 Warm Ochre, 303 Warm Beige, 400 Rose Pearl:

The shade I like the most is Cool Ivory which blends in the best with my skin tone. Although I thought it was might be interesting to compare it to 400 Rose Pearl which looked kind of similar in depth:

This is always my favourite part of a foundation review post – sharing how it looks on my skin with no other makeup.

My Review

I absolutely love the look and feel of this on my skin. It melts in effortlessly, blends beautiful, and just feels like gorgeous skincare. It evens out and perfects my skin tone so well and it’s ultra hydrating at the same time. The texture is silky-smooth, creamy and just looks like your skin but better.

Obviously the shade range isn’t that big and there really isn’t much here for darker skin tones here which is a real shame. 405 is the deepest shade I believe, but I haven’t seen it, so can’t comment on what skin tones it would be good for.

The entire Decorte skincare and makeup range is now available exclusively at Harrods. Here’s the catch – it is £100 for 30ml which is obviously pretty expensive. But if you are a fan of Decorte’s super luxury products and ingredients, you will be used to that!
