I have had this sheer skin tint sitting in my ‘to do’ pile for way longer than I should have, because it is so good! It offers protection from all environmental aggressors in the lightest, skin perfecting formula. Here’s the low down on the de Mamiel Exhale Daily Hydrating Nectar SPF30.

So I kind of ignored this to begin with because I wasn’t really familiar with the brand and without really thinking, I deprioritised it. And I really have to stop doing that because this is such a good discovery. I decided to dig it out to try after having THE most amazing de Mamiel facial (called Urban Warrior) at The Ned. Not only did I walk out of there with skin that didn’t need makeup, but I properly fell asleep and felt completely revitalised after. I couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a new treatment.

Before I left my facial, the therapist applied the de Mamiel Exhale Daily Hydrating Nectar and it’s the perfect product for city life in the summer.

This is a moisturiser that pretty much does it all. If you have oily skin you can use it alone, and if you’re a bit more on the dry side, you can layer it over your serum and/or moisturiser. I like as the last step in my skincare.

It has a gorgeous soft and silky texture and feels so so light on the skin that it’s hard to believe is has an SPF of 30 in there. It also gives my skin a lovely glow, and very softly evens out the complexion by balancing redness and almost airbrushes the skin without looking like foundation.

For me, it’s perfect for walks in the park and ideal to use with concealer (obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury’s new one), when I want a bit more coverage (as pictured below),

In case you’re wondering what else is on my face, it’s the Shiseido Aura Dew and Clarins Mascara Supra Volume. Also I have a touch of the Jamie Genevieve lipstick for MAC on my lips.

If you are looking for something with a higher SPF, pollution protection and a soft tint at a more afforadable price, one of my absolute favourites is the Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart – it is also lovely.
