Darphin CC Cream Instant Multi Benefit Care SPF35 Review, Swatch, Before & After Photos

Luxury skincare brand Darphin have developed a new CC Cream and I have been trying it out for a few days and like it rather a lot. I photographed it for the first time today so that I could show you how it looks. Here’s the low-down.

So the Darphin CC Cream promises to do 5 things:

Illuminate: radiance boosters combines light-reflecting pearls with Caffeine and Scutellaria to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhance natural glow

Correct Imperfection: pigments for smooth coverage that blend perfectly into the skin

Hydrate: Sodium Hyaluronate and Trehalose, combine to help maintain external hydration and re-hydrate the surface layers of the skin

Unify: Laminaria Saccharina helps to reduce excess sebum, while a powerful Hexapeptide works to smooth and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores and promote a smooth, even complexion

Protect: SPF 35 protects skin from the environment and UV related ageing.

I have fake tanned so medium is working for me very well, although it wouldn’t have last week!

Here it is on my skin, with a light dusting of bronzer, slick of mascara and Michael Kors After Sun Lip Balm.

This is a really great CC cream. I love the fact that it has glow, but it actually delivers a demi-matte finish that kind of sets on the skin and I didn’t feel the need to powder it too much. It has more of a velvet matte finish than the Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Glow BB that I also love, for example. 

I’ll be going for this when I have fake tanned, want to go very slightly more matte and take advantage of all the extra skin care benefits.
