Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Oil Review

Cocoa Brown is a tanning company that is slowly taking over the world. Alongside the original 1 Hour Tan Mousse (which still remains their best seller), Cocoa Brown are releasing more products to make tanning better and easier for everyone. They have several celebrity fans, namely the Kardashians/Jenners and anything they like I definitely want to try. So I was excited to be sent the Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Oil to trial.

The Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil can be used on the body, and also the face, as a highlighter. Apparently, this is Khloe Kardashian’s favourite way to use this product and I can see why.

You can see from the swatch it is a golden, shimmery liquid which is highly pigmented. You need the tiniest drop when using it as a face highlight. Never has the phrase ‘a little goes along way’ been more applicable. I am very pale and this is slightly too much for my skin but Cocoa Brown suggest using it once you have applied a fake tan or if you’re lucky and your skin is naturally tanned.

If you fancy using this as an all over body shimmer again you only need a little amount. This bottle looks like it could be used for 5+ full body applications. If you’re on holiday then this will look beautiful. It just gives a nice, shimmery glow that will last during a night out. If you’re a little worried about looking too glowy then just stick to highlighting the collar bone area. That is the perfect compromise!

I cannot talk about this product without mentioning the smell. Oh my goodness, it smells divine. It has a fresh scent, cucumbers, bananas and holidays spring to mind. If you’re not a big fan of fake tan smells then this is the perfect addition to mask that! I highly recommend this shimmering body oil, especially for the summer months or a special occasion.
