This is a bit of a special post because I took a very lovely trip to France to discover everything about Coach The Fragrance which launches at the end of August. I saw where it’s made, who it’s made by and of course got to learn about the notes and composition. It’s a lovely fragrance in an amazing bottle. Here are the details.
I have to talk about the bottle. I love it so much. It embodies the Coach spirit perfectly with the signature ebony leather hangtag and even more impressive, the signature handbag lock closure in gilt metal. It’s so good!!
I have never seen anything like it in perfume! It was amazing seeing it coming together in the factory. So much of the assembly is done by hand and with so much care. It was lovely to watch. Everyone in the factory was really lovely, and paid a lot of attention to detail. It was fascinating.
Check out this one minute video of the bottle coming together.
Coach The Fragrance – The Notes
This is what is described as a floriental fruity scent.
- Top notes – Raspberry, Pear, Pink Pepper
- Heart notes – Turkish Rose, Gardenia, Cyclamen
- Base notes – Suede Musk, Cashmeran, Sandalwood
This fragrance was created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Juliette Karagueuzoglou and is inspired by the Coach brand’s iconic codes which centre around modern luxury and the cool urban, energetic New York vibe.
It opens brightly with sparkling raspberry that melts into the heart of Turkish roses. The dry down gives a warm, soft and smooth base of suede musk. It wears beautifully on the skin; it’s such an easy to wear scent.
The face of Coach The Fragrance is the gorgeous Chloe Moretz. She says, “To me, this perfume is everything I love about Coach. It’s modern and happy. It perfectly captures the spirit, energy and excitement that Stuart (Vevers) has bought to Coach.”
