I love a bit of fast, effective, fun beauty and the new Clinique Pep-Start Double Bubble Purifying Mask ticks all of those boxes very nicely. Here’s the low down on this super quick-fix treatment.
Pep-Start is Clinique’s young, fun and more affordable skincare and I particularly like this mask because it’s enjoyable to use and you only need to leave it on for a couple of minutes.
Clinique Pep-Start Double Bubble Purifying Mask Features
- Refreshing pink gel-mask transforms into a blanket of tiny bubbles
- Helps rid skin of residual surface oil, dirt and debris
- Bubbly foam works to smooth skin’s texture
- Creates a perfect canvas for makeup
- Skin looks energised, radiant, feels purified
So this is a bit like the Bliss Triple Oxygen mask, although this one is a bit more about purifying than it is anti-ageing.
It is really easy to use; you simply dispense a few pumps of the pink gel and then smooth it over clean skin. Very quickly, teeny tiny bubbles start to appear until it’s a full bubble mask. It tickles a bit but feels very refreshing and pleasant.
I have been popping it on in the morning and then rinsing it off in the shower. You simply massage it with wet hands and it goes really creamy and then rinses away. It leaves skin feeling lovely, clean and fresh.
