Concealer is one of my favourite things in life so I was thrilled to hear that Clinique were launching a new one. I had the pleasure of getting the lowdown at the recent launch event and learnt all about it whilst getting shade matched. Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer Camouflage + 24-hour Wear, with photos and swatches.

As I have combination skin, the wear of a concealer is pretty important to me, and most of all, the promise of 24-hour wear is exciting!

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer Swatches

I have three shades to  show you – the Apricot corrector shade, and Very Fair 04 & Very Fair 08 (my shade).

My match is Very Fair 08 according to Clinique’s makeup ambassador, Florrie White. In addition, she mixed in a little of the Apricot corrector shade for my under eye area to neutralise the purplish tones. As a result, the eye area looked brighter and more luminous.

Florrie used Very Fair 08 alone on other areas of my face. This was due to the fact that it was redness and enlarged pores that need coverage. I loved the result  and most noteworthy, it stayed looking good all day. Because of its creamy texture, the concealer has a lovely, skin flattering finish and I find it sets itself and consequently, you can skip powder if you want to.
