Clinique Aromatics in Black Eau de Parfum Review

Aromatics from Clinique has gone dark with a brand new eau de parfum. I am really loving this because it contains some of my favourite notes like Bergamot, Neroli, Jasmine and Vetiver. Here are the details on the new Clinique Aromatics in Black Eau de Parfum.

Now I have to confess, I have never really tried the iconic Aromatics Elixir or even the newer addition to the line up, Aromatics in White. So I can’t compare this newbie to its predecessors but I do really like this and it makes me want to try the others.

Clinique Aromatics in Black

• Top notes – Plum Leaf Accord, Pink Grapefruit and Italian Bergamot
• Heart notes – Osmanthus, Neroli, Jasmine Sambac
• Base notes – Vetiver, Tonka Beans

I love the bright opening of this fragrance. Bergamot always uplifts me and gets me in a great mood and it is perfectly complemented here by the zestiness of the pink grapefruit. The Osmanthus give it a softly sweet feel which works really well with the floral feminity of the Jasmine in the heart.

I absolutely love the earthy vetiver base with smooth creamy tonka bean. It gives it a lovely soft and sexy finish which is really warming and comforting. This is such an easy to wear scent.

I also really like the bottle. Simple and seductive.
