Clean Reserve Warm Cotton Review

Clean Reserve is a new and exciting launch from the Clean fragrance brand. The collection is a mix of unique pairings to create sustainable beauty. I’ve been trying Clean Reserve Warm Cotton this week.

What is sustainable beauty you ask? Essentially, the fragrances are harvested from globally sourced ingredients and are done so in an eco friendly manner to help maintain and support the communities who cultivate these ingredients. The packaging is created using sustainable and recyclable products which in turn decreases our environmental footprint.

Smelling good and helping keep the environment and local communities alive? Count me in!

There are 5 fragrances in the collection and I’ve had the pleasure of trying Warm Cotton – a delightful mix of warmth and fresh scents that I immediately loved. I’m definitely drawn to more of a musky, sexier scent but this has a beautiful depth of fragrance that is incredibly unique and alluring whilst remaining light and fresh on the skin.

This fragrance includes Benzoin which is a vanilla-tinged resin harvested by Southeast Asian farmers in an Eco-conscious way. Benzoin is harvested without harming the tree it is derived from and Clean Reserve aim to educate the farmers to ensure this remains the case. That in itself is pretty special.

With top notes of ginger and aldehydic, the fragrance is instantly warm but slightly zesty before settling into itself when you get a florally but musky finish. The middle notes include mint and pepper for a slightly spicy but fresh feel and you can really sense the musk and vetiver for that added depth. 

These fragrances can also be paired with others from the collection and Warm Cotton is to be paired with Rain for an extra unique, floral but deep scent.

I really enjoy this for day to day wear as it is softer than what I usually go for, but is just as unique as my more musky fragrances.
