There’s a new collection of lipliners from Clarins coming and they cater for all skin tones depending on the kind of nude you are looking for. With 4 shades, there’s something for everyone. Here are the details on the new Clarins Nude Lipliner Pencils. They are fab!
So the idea is that this new line up will make finding your perfect lipliner for your skin tone super simple. There are 4 pencils designed to complement whichever lipstick shade you choose.
Clarins Nude Lipliner Pencil Shades
- 01 Nude Fair – Fair skin
- 02 Nude Beige – Medium skin (gold undertone)
- 03 Nude Rose – Medium skin (pink undertone)
- 04 Nude Mocha – Dark skin
It’s funny because I used to wear lipliner A LOT. And then suddenly lipliner became very much a faux pas in the world of beauty and makeup. I think because we overdid it. I certainly did. I have many a photo with a rather over-pronounced lip line and no lipstick to cover it to prove it! The nineties killed lipliner!
But over the last couple of years, all has been forgiven and now we are ready again to use it in the way it was intended – to sculpt and shape the lips ready for lipstick and I think the best tip is to make sure you use it all over the lips and not just on the outline. That way, you can also use it as a very good long lasting matte lip colour on its own.
The Clarins Nude Lipliner Pencils use a new formulation that has been enriched with jojoba oil which makes application smooth and the finish non-drying. They literally glide over the lips and softly set to create long lasting colour and shape.

They are so nice. 01 is my perfect nude, but depending on what lip look I am going for, I could definitely use them all. I particularly love Nude Rose.
