I really like this new look packaging from Clarins. It feels modern in a vintage kind of way, if you know what I mean, and it’s super neat so will fit easily in your makeup bag.

Here’s a little look at the texture.

It goes on really dewy and then gradually mattifies, so it’s good to wait a minute or two before applying makeup.

Before & After

I have a bit of a cold at the moment and I always find that my pores look more enlarged when I am under the weather. My skin is pretty red and unhappy in general today from lots of nose blowing!

I literally spread a small amount of Clarins Instant Poreless over the t-zone – on the central part of my forehead, between the browns, down and around the nose, across the cheeks to where the cheekbone starts, and around the mouth and on the chin. Basically, anywhere I saw a pore!

It is very effective at blurring and filling the pores, yet feels light on the skin and not drying. I found I had to pay a little more attention when blending my foundation over the primer but once blended, my skin looked extra flawless. It stayed looking matte for longer too.

I think next time I’ll avoid applying it around my nostrils as that’s where my skin can get a bit dry in winter, and it doesn’t need to be any drier. I found it really good on the pores on the inner parts of my cheeks and the area between my brows.
