I don’t know if it’s just me, but there is something seriously appealing about the idea of a lip oil. Tell me that I’m not alone?! I wrote about the brand new Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil when I first featured the Clarins Spring 2015 collection and I got pretty excited then! Now that I have one of them, I genuinely have not been disappointed. In. Love.

So! What’s it all about? A lip oil? It’s a pretty new concept really isn’t it? And that I like!!

As most of you will appreciate, Clarins is big on oil and I am so excited to see their expertise here being brought to the lip arena.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Formula

  • Each plant formula is 100% natural
  • Rich in carefully selected essential oils – jojoba, mirabelle
  • Hazelnut oil is used as a natural preservative
  • Natural fragrance
  • Non oily, non sticky finish

There are 2 shades – 01 Honey and 02 Raspberry. I have Honey and it is clear with a golden tinge that really enhances the natural colour of my lips. It feels SO lovely on my lips. It’s super nourishing yet really very light. It doesn’t feel oily and there is absolutely no stickiness at all. It is just lip gloss / lip balm perfection.

The other shade, Raspberry, is available online only.

And I absolutely adore the big fat sponge applicator! It is really big and really firm and it perfectly shaped to smooth on the formula which then melts beautifully into the lips for long-lasting hydration and a pretty glossy finish.
