One of the biggest beauty innovations in the last few years was the instant nail polish remover pots. The first one I came across was the Bourjois 1 Seconde Magic Nail Polish Remover and since then there was no looking back. Lots of brands have done it but I suppose it is pretty hard to deliver a bit of a twist on the theme. Unless, of course, you are Ciate who have a line of chocolate fragranced removers. They HAD to do it! Check out the Ciate Choc Pots.

I really like Ciate polish remover. I haven’t actually reviewed it because, in general, I am more about putting it on than taking it off, but they do some gorgeous chocolate scented numbers and I actually have been through a bottle of dark chocolate and white chocolate and been very impressed.
In fact, I actually rinsed out the sponge from my Bourjois magic remover and then put it back in the jar and doused it with my Ciate remover. So I kind of invented the prototype of Ciate Choc Pots without ever telling anyone!
Just so you know, this little trick works really well for about 2 refills, maybe 3, before the sponge starts to disintegrate. It’s definitely worth a go if you like removing your polish this way.
But back to the Ciate Choc Pots. I have the White Choc pot but you can also get the Dark Choc Pot, the Mint Choc Pot and the Orange Choc Pot.
Ciate Choc Pots Formula

- Non-drying
- Acetone-free
- Hydrating marula oil
- Vitamin B5 & E to condition
- Sugary cocoa scent

The sponge is packed nice and firmly making polish removal really fast and effective. Also, the nourishing ingredients ensure that the formula is kind to skin. These are the smallest pot removers I have seen so they are really handy for travel.

Ciate Choc Pots are £6 each and available from March 2015. Find Ciate at Selfridges.
