Well what a treat it has been to have the opportunity to try out this extremely decadent mascara, Les Yeux Noirs from Christian Louboutin Beauty. Here’s a look at the recently launched Christian Louboutin Lash Amplifying Mascara which has the most stunning packaging I have ever come across in a mascara (no surprises there!). Enjoy!

Isn’t it incredible? It is a seriously weighty item which I love, and the good thing is that most of the weight is in the tube and the wand is still light and easy to use.

I absolutely love how black and intensely pigmented this mascara is. It applies beautifully and gives me the kind of lashes I want, coating every lash and curling them up very well. It wears brilliantly – the finish lasts all day, the curl stays and there’s no flaking, smudging or mess.

My lashes looked as good before I took my makeup off in the evening as when I first applied it, which is pretty impressive.

The problem with a mascara as expensive as this is that it is very hard to say whether it is worth the money. I think if you like absolutely amazing packaging and great lashes, this will bring you a whole world of joy. The thing is, the high street do some absolutely brilliant mascaras and when it comes to those, I often like to use a combination of different products to achieve the lash look I like. Even if I used three different high street products, it would still be significantly cheaper than this, but none of them would look as stunning in my makeup bag!

All I know is, it gives me joy to own it!! There is also a burgundy shade that looks incredible.
