I have been following LA-based Rachel Anise AKA The Beauty Professor for I don’t know how long, so I was thrilled when she asked if she could send me her Christian Audette x Beauty Professor Lipstick collection. It’s a brand that I don’t know at all, but I was confident that whatever she has worked on would be amazing, and I was right. There are three shades and I have photos and swatches for you.

Christian Audette is a relatively new luxury lipstick brand that’s all about high quality formulas with intense colour payoff and long lasting wear and hydration. Rachel worked with them to create her three custom shades and each one is super pretty and really wearable.

• Johannah – pinky nude cream (and named after Rachel’s daughter)
• Golightly – opaque peachy beige with satin finish (a recreation of Audrey Hepburn’s lip in Breakfast at Tiffany)
• Elle – buildable cool baby pink with luminosity

The formula of each lipstick is so good. They are packed with pigment and glide onto the skin smoothly and evenly. Every shade is super comfortable on the lips. My instant favourite is Johannah as it is the perfect nude that flatters all skin tones.

Golightly is such an interesting shade and I am really excited to wear that too.

I rarely wear cool baby pinks, but this one is so fresh and juicy that I am really tempted by this shade.

Also, the packaging is super luxe but really neat and easy to pop in your bag. Love it.
