When I received the brand new Chloe Eau de Toilette it arrived in literally the most beautiful presentation I have ever seen. How could I not be wowed by those roses?!

And I literally made them last and last – it was the gift that just kept giving!

But that aside, as hard as it is not to take that beautiful arrangement into account, I have been wearing the new incarnation of Chloe so I can give you my thoughts on the scent. And it is so lovely. Chloe Eau de Toilette brings us such a feminine yet modern take on rose – the white rose to be precise – and it is elegant, fresh and soft all at the same time.

Chloe Eau de Toilette is such a full bodied fragrance. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Chloe Eau de Toilette Notes

While it is fresh and light, it also has a deep muskiness that delivers a real sophistication. It gets me straight away because it contains my favourite note, Bergamot right at the top. I always find it uplifting and brightening. The Gardenia is subtle and not overpowering, which is sometimes my thing with Gardenia, and the citrus from my fave Bergamot and lemon, really get a handle on any tendency for these florals to become too heavy, and allow the white rose to shine delicately.

It’s the kind of fragrance that when you smell it you can feel everything that’s going on. It fills your nose, in a good way. It is airy and full of light yet cosy and comforting. I love it. I was obsessed with the Chloe Eau de Parfum when it launched 7 years ago and now I feel the same way about this.

Chloe Eau de Toilette is out now and prices start at £42. Find it at Debenhams.
