Here’s another highly requested post relating to Charlotte Tilbury’s glorious new launches! The big question is, what does a Charlotte Tilbury Star Gold vs Bette Eyes To Mesmerise cream shadows comparison look like? CT junkies are asking whether they need Star Gold if they already have Bette. In my humble opinion, the answer is YES! Here’s a look at them together.
As soon as I wrote about the new Eyes To Mesmerise shades, Rose Gold and Star Gold, the requests for comparison swatches came flooding in! At first glance, Star Gold looks quite a lot like Bette, but actually, they are quite different. Different enough to justify owning both, especially as Star Gold is a limited edition shade and won’t be around forever.

While we’re on the topic of limited editions, remember Pink Haze from Tom Ford that was released as part of the Summer 2013 collection and then sold out, never to return?! Well the new Rose Gold is a very very good dupe for that little stunner. Just thought you might like to know!

Anyway, back to Star Gold and Bette. They are definitely sisters and not twins, as you will see.

Here’s Star Gold on her own:

And here’s Bette:

Finally, here they are both together.

As you can see, Star Gold is more of a copper shade, whereas Bette is more of a bronze with much less pink. They actually look really beautiful together and would make a lovely eye look used in combination.
So there you go. I hope you found my Charlotte Tilbury Star Gold vs Bette comparison swatches useful.
