Chantecaille is one of those brands that I haven’t got that much experience of but that I love anyway!! I love a couple of their products – the Brilliant Gloss and the Tinted Moisturiser (review coming soon) and I am about to add another to the list.
Here is the Chantecaille 24 Hour Waterproof Eye Liner in bronze shade Oolong.

Now this liner is Chantecaille’s first ever waterproof liner and is their longest wearing pencil yet. It has waterproof pigments that promise 24 hours of smudge-proof colour and lash thickening effects. I have no idea about the lash thickening side but I wore it all day yesterday and it didn’t move one bit.
Here’s a closer look:

It is lovely to apply –  really creamy and blendable, then it dries into place “leaving eyes expertly defined and contoured for up to 24 hours in rain, shine or humidity”.
So it lasted all day yesterday but this didn’t really test out the 24 hour rain, shine and humidity ‘proof-ness’!! And to be fair that’s not really possible in the current climate. So I am in the process of testing the swatch on my hand.
I have had it on for a few hours now and it hasn’t budged yet – I shall come back and update you.

The Chantecaille 24 Hour Waterproof Eye Liner is available in three shades – Orchid (exotic purple), Ebony (dramatic black) and my one, Oolong (burnished bronze).
They cost £22 and will be available in May 2013 at SpaceNK, Liberty, Harrods and Fenwicks.
