My Review of Carolina Herrera The Lip Liquid

First of all, the packaging is absolutely amazing! I am obsessed. You buy the colour component separately from the caps, which I love.

Lip Liquid Velvet

I have the shade 511 Red Carolina in the Lip Liquid Velvet and it’s such a stunning blue-red that really makes the teeth look white. It applies effortless and one dip is enough for full opaque coverage.

The applicator is perfectly shaped for the precise application you need for a bold matte colour. I even impressed myself. I chose the Lion cap for this shade.

The formula dries instantly and forms an ultra-thin veil on the lips that feels flexible. It doesn’t transfer at all, and I actually tested a swatch of this shade on my hand during a Peloton bike ride and a bath. It lasted!

Lip Liquid Vinyl

I have the shade 240 Nude Instinct in the Lip Liquid Vinyl and I love it! I chose the Turtle cap to go with this one.

It feels super nourishing yet not at all sticky. The colour is really long lasting, especially when you consider it’s a gloss. It stays in place really nicely and feels extremely comfortable on the lips.  Love it.

The Caps

This is the fun part because the caps are sold separately and you choose between a Turtle, a Lion or a Beetle. I have the Lion and the Turtle and I love them. They make the lip colour look and feel so special.
