Burt’s Bees are one of my favourite natural brands and as my skin has been on the drier side lately the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration range has been perfect for my skin. This range is made up of six products and I have been testing out five of them. My skin has been loving them! This whole range has also been infused with Clary Sage with each of the products have a lovely light scent as well. Find them here
As my skin has been uncomfortably dry lately, I was in need of some new moisturisers. The Intense Hydration Day Lotion has been my go to day time moisturiser and is fast-absorbing so it is great to apply before makeup. It’s designed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for maturer skin types but leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and intensely moisturised. The Intense Hydration Night Cream has been fantastic to lock in hydration overnight and when I wake up my skin is always left incredibly soft. While both of these moisturisers are incredibly hydrating, they don’t feel heavy on the skin.
Another hydrating product for the skin is the Intense Hydration Eye Cream. This has been a fantastic product for me as I had been in serious need of an eye cream as I didn’t have one in my routine. This has really helped smooth the skin under my eyes and the smallest amount goes a long way. I haven’t found it to be too heavy on the skin and it doesn’t cause any of the makeup I apply to crease due to the eye cream. I have been using this in the morning and evening.
As part of my evening skincare routine, I have been using the Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser. This has been great to use as a second step cleanser to ensure that all dirt and makeup is removed while locking in extra moisture. I find this to be very gentle on the skin and I prefer to remove this with a muslin cloth.
Once or twice a week I have been loving using the Intense Hydration Treatment Mask. This is such a treat for the skin during the 5-10 minutes it is on as it adds and locks in so much hydration and moisture. It leaves the skin feeling supple and soft to the touch and it works incredibly well on my dry textured patches too. To remove this, Burt’s Bees recommend using a tissue but I do like to use a muslin cloth like I do with the cleanser.
