The newest fragrance launch from Burberry is a lovely fresh, floral number and it is out this month. Here’s the low down on brand new Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral Eau de Toilette for women.

This new addition to the Brit Rhythm fragrance family is inspired by music – “the energy and anticipation of live music” which has a firm place within the Burberry brand. The campaign is fronted by the gorgeous Suki Waterhouse and Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral Eau de Toilette offers a new take on the first Brit Rhythm that launched in January 2014.

It has a sensual floral theme with what Burberry are describing as an ‘unexpected fruity twist’.
Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral Eau de Toilette Notes
Top notes – orchard fruit, Sicilian lemon & orange
Heart notes – Egyptian jasmine, lotus blossom and dewy lilac
Base notes – amber woods, driftwood, musk.

I have been pondering for a while whether I prefer the original or the Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral, and the conclusion is, I really don’t know. I think maybe the original? The new one is lovely and much lighter and brighter, and sorry to be obvious, more floral! The original is muskier which is what I really like about it. My boyfriend prefers the first, if that has any bearing…It should be noted though that it isn’t overpoweringly floral – it is modern and vibrant but still with a very soft base. I think it will go down really well.

Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral Eau de Toilette was designed by Francis Kurkdjian who says, “I personally wanted to express the uncompromising energy of music with a twist of youthful attitude and sexiness. The scent is bright – fluid – vertical – energetic – young.”
Burberry Brit Rhythm Floral Eau De Toilette is £69 for 90ml and £50 for 50ml and launches February 2015. There’s a new men’s version too – Burberry Brit for Men – Eau de Toilette Intense – his and hers Valentine’s pressies?!
