I absolutely love Bourjois nail poishes. They are amongst the best on the high street – always great shades, super glossy and with great wear time. The next step for the brand is a gel system – Bourjois La Laque Gel in ten shades. Here is everything you need to know.

What is really good about these new nail polishes is that you can purchase them in duo kits with a colour and a gel top coat, or individually as the colour or the top coat. It gives you lots of options.

These polishes are really easy to apply. It’s a simple case of 2 coats of the colour and then a layer of the gel top coat. I find the key to success is to apply everything in thin coats and let them dry completely in between. If you go too heavy on the top coat you’ll get bubbles, and you just don’t need to as it gives a gorgeous glossy result in a thin layer.

Complete success so far! I will update on wear time when I can, and I am also going to test it on my mum who is terrible for chipping her nails, so I’ll report back. She’s a better candidate than me as I like to change my colour far too often!
