The lip pencil debate is ever alive. Some people swear by them and some people avoid them like the plague (possibly because they used to swear by them and now cringe at the photos!). However, Bobbi Brown, Queen of makeup, says that lip liners are the quickest and easiest way to give lips natural looking definition. I am really excited about this, because although I may possibly own one of the largest makeup collections known to (wo)man, it is actually rather lacking in the lip pencil department. • Apply after lip colour
• Follow the natural outline of the lips
• Use feathery strokes to avoid harsh lines
• To make lip colour last longer, apply first by outlining and filling in the whole lip area, then follow with lip colour
• Make sure the tip is rounded for a natural look

I love the tip about not using a super sharp pencil.
