I have been trying out the Bobbi Brown CC Cream which is a colour correcting cream designed to be worn under foundation. It promises to give the skin a healthy looking glow, even out the complexion and illuminate and protect the skin.

The Bobbi CC Cream comes in 3 shades – Pale Nude, Warm Nude, Golden Nude – and each contain light diffusers to blur imperfections and light up the skin. I have shade Pale Nude which is a pink-lilac tone. Here’s a swatch:

The CC Cream also contains brightening botanicals to help even out skin over time while broad spectrum sun protection inhibits the formation of dark spots.
Here are before and after photos.

And here’s my skin with the Bobbi Brown CC Cream in Pale Nude applied using my fingers:

I think it effectively evens out the skin and pigmentation, reducing redness around my chin and nose and adding a real glow and light to the skin. As this is designed to be layered under foundation, there’s no coverage as such, but it is certainly skin perfecting and diffuses the appearance of blemishes, lines and pores.
Here it is under the newly reformulated Bobbi Brown foundation stick (review coming soon on that – hint: I love it), so you can see how it looks under base.

This is the lightest application of foundation and I think you’ll see how radiant and flawless the skin looks underneath. It certainly is a porcelain yet natural looking finish.
I love this CC cream and have been using it under a variet of foundations with really pleasing results. It is also great to use mixed in with foundation if you have one that is a little too dark.
Bobbi Brown CC Cream SPF35 costs £29 and is available at Selfridges and John Lewis.
