How Does the Micellar Technology Work?
The oily phase of the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil works with the double action Micellar technology to gently cleanse the skin of impurities including makeup, pollution, sunscreens.
It does this first with inverted micelles which open up and release a biomimetic amino acid, which works with the skin to nourish. When you add water to transform the oil to a milk, the oil and impurities are captured in new large filled micelles, creating an emulsion which rinses easily away.
How to use it
The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil is really easy to use. You simply apply a couple of pumps on to dry skin and spend a little bit of time massaging it in circular motions.
Add a splash of water and continue to work it over the skin as it transforms into an oil. Rinse away and you can use a wash cloth is that it your preference.
Key Ingredients
Micellar technology – has the ability to capture impurities while preserving the skin’s natural protective film
Rapeseed Oil – rich in essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 9
Sunflower Seed Oil – moisturises and locks in moisture
Laminaria ochroleuca extract (brown algae) – good for sensitive skins
Vitamin E – provides antioxidant protection
My Review of Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil

As a fan of oil cleansers, I knew this would be a product I’d like. It is a super effective cleansing oil, and works to break down makeup quickly and effectively, without leaving skin feeling stripped or heavy.

What I particularly like is that is rinses clean away, and leaves the skin feeling hydrated but without that feeling of a greasy film over the skin. It is great on eyes and it doesn’t do that thing that some cleansing oils and balms do, where they kind of coat the eyes with a milky film and leave your vision a bit blurry.
This leaves the eyes completely normal and even waterproof mascara lifts away easily. It has a nice affordable price tag at £18 (currently £12 at Escentual*), so it’s a win all round for me.
