If you ever feel that your skin needs different things on different days, and wish you could customise and boost your regular moisturiser, then this new brand, Bio-Extracts is for you. It offers a highly targeted skincare regime that uses ground-breaking layering technology in a cream that you can supercharge with boosters. It’s like having your own skin lab at home, except a whole lot easier! All the products are 100% natural, vegan and formulated using bio-technology. Here’s the lowdown.

First up, the good news is that the Bio-Extracts collection has just launched on QVC and you can check it our HERE. If you’d like to see it all brought to life, make sure you tune into the show on QVC at 9am, Thursday 29th September.
One of the key things about this range is that the core moisturisers use a very new and innovative technology that matches itself to the structure of the skin for deep and lasting hydration. There are three formulas to choose from for different skin types, and each one uses something called a Multi-Lamellar system which creates a luxurious, yet light texture. Its structure is very similar to way skin is made up.

This means it acts like a patch on the skin which stays in place all day and prevents moisture loss and environmental irritation. You should also know that they smell amazing and have been naturally scented to enhance mood and well-being.

QVC Bio-Extracts 3 Piece Collection
The Bio-Extracts collection has launched on QVC and there’s a brilliant package deal that includes the moisturiser of your choice (Light, Normal or Rich) and two of the serum boosters – the Anti-Wrinkle syringe and the Lifting syringe, which work brilliantly together. They come in a white cosmetics bag and the set costs £49.50 which is quite a bargain considering the boosters are £19.50 each and the creams are £28. For such advanced technology and high quality skincare, it’s amazing value.

The Home Lab!

You just press down and pump out a dose of the moisturiser and then use the plate to inject in a shot of each of the boosters and then mix up your potion.

It is so much fun! You can actually add up to four shots, so you can double up on your serums if you feel you need it, or add in/swap out with additional serum booster syringes that are available separately. QVC also sell the Hydro-Boost booster that contains very high quality, non-synthetic hyaluronic acid and the Firming Booster which uses natural polysaccharides.

There is also a whole host of other boosters available on the Bio-Extracts website. There’s a Clean to Clear one you can add in if you’re suffering with spots or hormonal changes, a Pore Minimising one, a Glow Boost and much more. You can see them all here.

I am loving this idea because you can assess your skin and then customise your core cream to tackle any issues. For example, I went to a party and drank a bit of fizz, so I went heavy on the Hydro Boost the following morning! It did the trick!
So now you just have to choose what you need. I have been using Normal. If you have oily skin go for light (it has mattifying rice particles) and go for Rich if your skin is dry. If you don’t know your skin type then you’ll probably need Normal. All the formulas are non-greasy with a very sophisticated texture that feels light on the skin.
If you want to see it all in action, make sure you catch the show on QVC at 9am, Thursday 29th September.
