Ooooh this is exciting. I am at first excited by the idea of SPF20 in an eye primer because I am a sun protection freak and sun-phobe extraordinaire. I love using SPF around the eye area but ever had sun cream in your eye? It is seriously bad news. I am so pleased to see an SPF makeup product especially formulated for the delicate eye area. And then there’s a whole lot more! Here are the details on the new Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer.
Okay so let’s get down to the nitty gritty – what can this little beauty do? We are talking eyeshadow locking, skin caring and environmental protecting!
Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer Features
- Eyelid primer with SPF20 (think I may have already made that clear!)
- Envirodefend complex to protect from environmental stress
- Tinted to colour correct
- Shea extract to hydrate
- Locks on eyeshadow
- Pressure-free memory gel foam applicator
So basically, we are looking at a primer to get the best out of your eye makeup, with the extra benefits of skincare and environmental and UV protection. Will it apply itself too? Well it pretty much does as the applicator has such a light touch that using it to apply and blend is probably preferable to fingertip application.
I am 100% up for this. As you age, eyelids are a bloody nightmare so I am always on the look out for every bit of help I can get. Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer is pretty much all the help that I have been looking for.
Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer Swatch
It is a gorgeous creamy yet light texture that disappears into the skin, and evens out any high colour or darkness on the lids. I think this is perfect even for no-eyeshadow days, which I do every now and then, as I find a nice clean lid and lots of lashes really youthful and fresh.
Loving this. I need to road test it with eyeshadow and see how it fares so check back for an update. Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer launches 7th September 2015 for £21.50. Find more info at Benefit online.
