If skin is your thing then you should definitely have a read of this BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base Review. It promises to instantly vanishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections in a feather-light formula. Here’s how I got on!

When anything claims to have a no-pore effect on my skin, I am interested. I have enlarged pores around the centre of my face, and although I hate them less than I used to because, well, I am bored of hating something I have to look at everyday, I still prefer it when they are less noticeable.

So! You need to give the BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer a good shake, and when you do, you’ll hear that aerosol noise, so there must be some kind of ball bearing in there to help mix it up. You then pump it out and apply.

It kind of melts into the skin and you can feel it quickly turn into a soft powder as it smooths over the complexion.

BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Before & After

It definitely has a positive effect on the appearance of my pores. It works well on its own if you just want your skin to look slightly more perfected, but of course its main job is to prime your skin for foundation.
I tried it underneath my It Cosmetics CC Cream which I love and it applied beautifully and I think it enhanced the coverage and gave my skin an even more perfected look. By the way, you can check out my Glowy Makeup Routine here.
I really like this product, and my makeup lasted really well on top of it. It’s another good release from BECCA. One thing I would say though, if you don’t like the feel of powder, you may not like the initial sensation. However, once it’s on, it’s pretty imperceptible on the skin.
The BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is £32 for 30ml and you can buy it HERE now.
