BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation Review

I have been absolutely desperate to try the new BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation and now that I have, I’m so pleased because it’s lovely!! Here is the info you need along with swatch action and before and after photos.

So this foundation is all about sheer dewy coverage, and as a fan of glow, I am always interested to see how dewy a foundation can really make my skin. I like a foundation to cover and I want my skin to glow but I don’t want it to shine. The name Aqua Luminous gets me all kinds of excited!!

I chose shade Fair – which considering is the lightest shade, is not really that light. It looks quite dark on my hand but it matches my skin tone very well. I am not sure that very fair skinned people will find a match though. BECCA do call them flexible shades, so maybe it would be ok, but I don’t know.

So whilst this is sheer coverage, all the blurring and perfecting technology works to conceal imperfections, like enlarged pores and redness. It gives the skin a very natural looking flawless result. As I said, I like foundations that cover, so I often think I need a high coverage foundation, however, this is light coverage and still perfects. It’s very impressive.

Also, although I love a dewy finish, often dew and large pores don’t go so well together. But I find this one very minimising on my big ol’ pores which I absolutely love! It goes on really beautifully – I used a buffing brush and it blended into the skin very easily.

I am loving this. I think it gave my skin a gorgeous healthy look and it blurred out enlarged pores and fine lines really well. It’s really plumping and hydrating and left my skin comfortable for the whole day. My dad told me I looked really well even quite late in the evening! I am loving this. The only downside is that I always prefer a pump to a dropper, but this one isn’t actually too messy.
