Beauty Pro Face Masks Review

Beauty Pro specialise in spa and facial treatment equipment. So, when the opportunity came up to try two of the Beauty Pro face masks I couldn’t help but think they would know a thing or two about skincare, so I signed myself up. I also want to take this opportunity to confess that embarrassingly I have never used a sheet mask before so I was really excited to give these a go.

Both of Beauty Pro’s Collagen Sheet masks claim:

• Suitable for all skin types
• To be an anti-aging treatment
• Boost skin firmness
• Improve skin clarity, tone and elasticity
• Vegan
• Paraben Free

The sheet masks utilise marine collagen (hence their name) while combining vitamins, herbs and botanicals to improve skin tone and complexion. Both masks are designed to only take 15 minutes and are likened to having a facial but in the comfort of your own home and for a much cheaper price.

Whilst the masks are advertised as being suitable for all skin types I really did think that both masks I received were perfect for me as I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and suffer with redness, dehydration and fine lines.

Beauty Pro Face Masks – Rejuvenating Collagen Face Mask with Green Tea Extract

I decided to give the Rejuvanating Collagen Mask a go first. Having a shiny t-zone is the bane of my existence and I felt with the recent change in the weather that my skin needed a helping hand.

The Rejuvenating Collagen Mask helps with:

• Combating oily t-zones and hydrating dry areas.
• Increasing elasticity and reducing redness.
• An anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial mask infused with Green Tea extract which protects against free radicals.

I read the instructions carefully (and then again, just in case) because it seemed incredibly simple. I washed and patted dry my face, then I gently unfolded the mask (which was the trickiest part) and applied it to my face… easy. They come individually packaged which is perfect for keeping the ingredients fresh and protected.

Fifteen minutes and a few YouTube videos later it was ready to take off. Now usually this is the part I dread when I am using masks. The vast amount of water wasted, furious rubbing, tugging and scrubbing at my face and then there is always that stubborn bit you find a few hours later that you missed. But with this – you just peel it off and you are good to go.

After removing the mask I gently patted the residue into my face and examined my skin closely – it looked and felt both clarified and hydrated. The next day I also noticed how nicely my skin care and make up applied, and also noted a reduction in oil production on my t-zone. Absolute winner.

Beauty Pro Face Masks – Brightening Collagen Face Mask with Vitamin C

I have read about the many benefits of having Vitamin C in skincare.  For those of you who are unaware of the benefits of vitamin C its biggest claims are to aid anti-ageing as well as brightening the skin. I’m in my early 30s so I try to incorporate Vitamin C into my daily skincare to ward off those pesky fine lines and give me a youthful boost. So this mask was right up my street.

The benefits of the Brightening Collagen Face mask are:

• To combat fine lines and wrinkles
• Improve dull skin by boosting clarity and uneven skin tone.
• Gain a youthful glow.

The first thing I noticed about when I opened this sheet mask was the incredible smell, so fresh and fruity. Like the Rejuvenating Collagen Face Mask, I applied it to my face and left it on for 15 mins. I could feel the hydration instantly and it felt incredibly soothing and relaxing.

When I took the mask off, I again lightly massaged the excess in to my skin and rushed to the mirror to see the results. My skin looked and felt plump, smooth and even (everything it claimed). I really noticed that the fine lines I have around my eye area had significantly reduced. Two hours later, I gave my face a little prod and it still felt really hydrated without being sticky. What I really enjoyed about both masks was that they’re nicely saturated with the right amount of product and as a result none of the product ran down my neck.

I love to apply face masks at the weekend, but I find that they are a real faff. So for me these masks are a perfect solution to what would be the rather time consuming mid-week masking. With many of us having heavy work schedules and busy social lives I can see the simplicity of these masks being suitable for many beauty addicts out there – minimum effort, maximum results. I’m now a sheet mask convert;  thank you Beauty Pro, you get a big thumbs up from me.
