This new launch from Beauty Pie promises to be quite a game-changer, and I have to say, if you love fake tan like I do, this could be your new best friend amongst your arsenal of products.
Beauty Pie Dr Glycolic High-Potency Perfecting Body Lotion is formulated with:
- 20% GLYCOLIC ACID – For smoothing, renewing, reducing the appearance of bumpy, chicken skin, texture-refining and radiance-boosting

As a serial fake-tanner, I am always looking for ways to enhance my routine and in that respect, the Beauty Pie Dr Glycolic High Potency Perfecting & Exfoliating Body Lotion is a bit of a game changer.
As an ankle boot kind of gal, I often find that I have a little ring around my legs that just can pick up a tiny bit more tan than the rest of my legs. It’s one of those things I live with, but I can see after a few uses with this body lotion, it’s becoming a lot less noticeable.
Also, I get a huge fake sun spot on my left forearm after tanning, which isn’t visible at all when my fake tan has faded. This is also less noticeable if I prep with the Beauty Dr Glycolic Body Lotion.
The formula is definitely much easier to spread on damp skin, and that way it sinks in more elegantly and doesn’t leave the skin sticky. I notice a little tingle in more sensitive areas, like my chest, but other than that, it feels super gentle.
I find the best way to use it for tanning is to apply the day before you want to tan, and then use something to buff the skin in the shower the following day. Then apply your tan.
You will get the smoothest tan ever!
How to Use It
I feel like this is a very important part of my review! I think it’s best to avoid applying this on dry skin.

- Use something scrubby in the shower the following day (product or mitt) and then tan if you’re a fake tanner!
- Use once or twice a week
- Avoid using after shaving
