If you are looking for a super affordable and practical makeup kit for everyday brows and eyes then I have to give a shout out the this Barry M Get Shapey Brow & Eyeshadow Palette. It’s a multi-purpose little number that I have been dipping into quite a lot. Here are the details with pics and swatches.

So there’s quite a lot going on in this little kit and because I got on so well with the lip kits and liquid lip paints that launched recently, I really wanted to try it. I have to say, I am pretty impressed.

I have been getting on so well with this kit. For brows, I use it with my favourite Bobbi Brown Dual-Ended Brow Definer brush. I start by brushing through my brows with the spooley and then using the angled brush in the clear wax to shape and define. I brush through again before dipping into the darker powder and applying in soft brushstrokes. I use the spooley to soften the colour and the brows are done. It has a lovely natural effect and it doesn’t budge at all.

The eyeshadow shades are lovely neutrals. I adore that matte minky shade and the shimmers aren’t too sparkly so they are really easy to apply and wear.

I am glad they didn’t bother to include a brush because it would be a rubbish one and there’s really no point.
