The word ‘elixir’ gets me every time! I start musing about ever-lasting youth, beautiful young skin and a glow that radiates for a mile! I know…I have quite an imagination. So I am really excited to try out the brand new BareMinerals Mineralixirs range which is winging its way to me right now.

The BareMinerals Mineralixirs range 3 products that each contain pure, cold-pressed rosehip oil from the Andes. It is rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 and works to heal damaged skin, reverse the signs of ageing and protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

As I already mentioned, there are 2 products in this range:

• 5 Oil Blend – Nourishing Face Treatment £38

This is a deeply moisturising elixir that contains Rosehip seed oil, Camellia seed oil, Grape seed oil, Apricot kernel seed oil and Sunflower seed oil. If you are a fan of oil like me, then you are probably going to love this! You simply press 3 or 4 drops of oil onto a cleaned face morning and night.

• Eye Nourishing Balm – solid oil balm for the delicate eye area £26

This contains restorative oils and skin enhancing minerals to smooth away fine lines around the eye area. I love that this is a solid balm. Can’t wait to try this!

• Facial Cleansing Oil – delicately lift away makeup and dirt whilst maintaining moisture balance £21

A blend of plant oils and skin kind minerals that melts away impurities and leaves skin radiant. I love cleansing oil so this is very exciting!

I’ll be trying out the BareMinerals Mineralixirs very soon and I will be back with some product shots and comments about the textures and immediate benefits.

It has been out in the US for a while and it seems that it is really great for dry skin, making the launch date of January 2015 here in the UK perfect timing. It is available at Sephora in the US, and will be landing at Boots in the New Year.
