B. Makeup Brush Cleanser & Wipes Review

I know that most people hate cleaning their makeup brushes but I don’t actually mind doing them! I have read so many horror stories about dirty makeup brushes and tools that I make sure I wash them every single week without fail. I am always looking for products which are going to keep my brushes clean on the go or when I am in a hurry and can’t do a deep clean. So I grabbed the chance to try the B. makeup brush cleanser and wipes.

The two products I have been using mainly to spot clean my brushes at the moment are the B. Makeup Brush Cleanser and the B. Makeup Brush Cleansing Wipes. As this is from a Superdrug range, the products are super affordable. I love this about these products as I find that some brush cleaners can be very expensive.

I would say that these two products are better suited towards cleaning your brushes in-between washes and spot cleaning rather than for an in depth clean. They are great for eye brushes when you want to use them for different shades of eyeshadow.

The Makeup Brush Brush Cleaner is to be sprayed directly onto the brush, with 2-3 pumps.  You  then swirl the brush into a tissue or cloth to remove the makeup residue. This is great for both face and eye brushes as it will get a lot of the residue off the brush so that you can use them again without having to spend the time waiting for your brushes to dry after washing them.

I found that this cleaner gets around 70% of the residue off my face brushes. However, it works a lot better with eye brushes. With my eye brushes they looked cleaner than they had ever had. As you don’t have to use water with this brush cleaner, they don’t take long to dry before you can use them again.

The Makeup Brush Cleansing Wipes are such a brilliant idea – why haven’t any other brands thought of this!? These wipes are the perfect product for travelling as they won’t spill in your luggage. Again, these will clean your brushes enough to prolong having to do a deep clean. I love these particularly for eye brushes as they will remove all of the shadow from the brushes so you are able to use them with different shades. Perfect for when you use a dark eyeshadow and then want to use the brush in a lighter shade!
