It has been a while since I have tried anything new from Avon but this mascara arrived this morning just at the right time and so I got it straight on my lashes! Here’s a look at Avon Big and False Lash Mascara with a few before and after photos. I have to say, I rather like it!

So this mascara promises to give you a false lash effect by doubling the looks of lashes.

Avon Big and False Lash Mascara Features
- Clump-free formula
- Uses lash lifting polymers
- Patent pending micro-emulsion technology
- Tiny fibres of varying shapes and sizes
- Brush shaped to follow the natural curve of the eye
- Curved fibre bristles mimic lash shape for a natural effect

So there is quite a lot going on here at once. The tiny fibres first entwine together and then in combination wrap themselves around each lash to seriously build volume and fullness all the way from the root to tip.

I find that the brush gives a speedy application of product but keeps each lash nicely separated for a lovely fluttery look. One coat gives a very natural lengthened effect and further coats really work to densify the lash line for the false lash effect.

I really like this. I love the voluminous look it gives and it feels fairly light on the lashes. It isn’t as light as the new Daniel Sandler Intense Volume Pro Mascara or the new Lancome Hynose Volume a Porter but then it is significantly more affordable than both of those higher end options.
Avon Big and False Mascara is £8.50 and launches on 10th September 2015. Find Avon Makeup HERE.
