Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser Review

I love Aveda products and my latest discovery is this gorgeous cleanser with special powers! Here’s the low- down on Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser.

The Aveda Tourmaline range harnesses the healing power of the Tourmaline crystal to enhance the effectiveness of Aveda’s natural, plant-based ingredients. Tourmaline has lots of benefits for the skin and actually promotes the absorption of other ingredients.

The Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser is a white cleansing cream that has natural Jojoba Exfoliating Beads that encourage cell renewal and removes impurities. It also contains Mango Butter and Babassu Oil to nourish.

The Jojoba exfoliating beads are really soft and non-abrasive – they work to gently lift away dead skins cells while the Tourmaline helps to “infuse visible life and enhance a natural glow” in the skin. It is so gentle that I actually like to use it on dry skin (the instructions suggest it is wet) to get a deeper exfoliation. I then add water to lather, then rinse to reveal a radiant glow.

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser costs £21 for £150ml at Aveda online, or John Lewis for £18.90.

It’s a great choice for dehydrated, flaky winter skin.
