I absolutely love Armani lip products, so I was super excited to try out the new Armani Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer. It’s all about high shine, intense colour and long wear. Here’s all the info, along with photos and swatches.

Ecstacy Mirror promises the intensity of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss, all in one swipe. Having been fairly obsessed with matte finish lip products, I am ready to embrace a juicy look.

What is Armani Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer?

I had to swatch these really quickly as the pigment is very long lasting and it stains. Which of course is an amazing sign when it comes to lip colour.

My Review

I went straight for 500 Urge – it’s such a pretty colour.

 I am loving the packaging. The little windows show you which colour you are grabbing and I love the lacquered glossy tube and silver Giorgio Armani monogram on the cap. Super chic!

The shape of the applicator makes application super easy, and lining, defining and filling can be done really quickly.

You can go for a light wash, or layer to build the shine and colour intensity. I applied a couple of coats and it feels moisturising and comfortable, and stays like that. As I type, I have had number 500 on for almost five hours and it still feels smooth and nourishing, whilst the colour has stayed true. The high shine has gone for the most part, but lips still look juicy and not at all dry. I am very pleased.

I can’t wait to try more shades, and I will add in photos as I do.
