Wow! That was a bit of a mouthful! From here on in, I shall be referring to this little wonder product as the Bare Minerals Prime Time BB Primer, although that is still pretty lengthy! But never mind because I like it!

It has been formulated to perfect, protect and prime in one go – it diminishes imperfections, provides SPF30 broad spectrum protection from the sun and creates a lovely smooth base for foundation. Cleverly, it tackles any dryness and excess oil at the same time, so it is perfect for my combination to dry skin. Here’s the swatch of Bare Minerals Prime Time BB Primer in shade light:

It does contain silicone but it doesn’t have an overly silicone-y feel. It lightly slips on to the skin and then settles almost undetectably. I feel like it has a lifting effect too. Bare Minerals’ Lee Etheridge described it to me as being like a stocking over the face, and I must say, I am inclined to agree!

It is great stuff. I like it on it’s own for easy days and under foundation (any of my faves) for super flawless days.
Bare Minerals Prime Time BB Primer is available from April 2014 in shades Light & Medium, and then September in shades Fair and Tan. It costs £23. Find Bare Minerals online at Feel Unique.
