I have spoken of my love for face masks several times before. I love trying new ones out and seeing the innovations companies can come up with. APIVITA have a unique approach to manufacture of their face masks; they have replaced water with antioxidant rich ingredients, primarily green tea.

I wasn’t aware that the water content in most cosmetics exceeds 70%- that’s a lot of water! APIVITA have chosen antioxidants that are scientifically proven when it comes to effectiveness. Green Tea forms the basis of most of their products as it has a great antioxidant effect, it is rich in polyphenols and has anti- inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-irritant attributes.
I tried the APIVITA Radiance Face Mask With Pomegranate. This is suitable for all skin types, it has a rich creamy formulation and is made using 89% natural ingredients. That’s a good percentage as I try and avoid products with too many synthetic ingredients. The APIVITA website lists the ingredients as below:

As most people are aware, shea butter and honey, along with hyaluronic acid are great moisturisers for the skin. My husband was impressed with the hyaluronic acid as he is a contact lens specialist and hyaluronic acid is used a lot in hydrating contact lens products- anything gentle enough for eyes is great for sensitive skin. Pomegranate extract and Vitamin C provide the radiance aspect of this mask. Green Tea and Olive oil provide antioxidant benefits, the olive oil also aids skin softening.

The instructions are to apply this mask to clean, dry skin, leave for 10 minutes and remove any excess with a tissue or damp cotton pad and then rinse. I love applying face masks, I can’t wear my glasses while they are on so it means I leave my phone etc. alone and relax for the duration. This mask felt nice on my skin, there was no drying or tingling. The mask was also easy to remove and left no residue or tackiness, my skin felt lovely and soft afterwards and I did notice after a couple of uses that my skin did look more radiant than usual.
I was pleased with this mask, especially as I usually go for clarifying or exfoliating rather than radiance. The purifying face mask with Propolis, and the cleansing masks that APIVITA have on their website sound great too. Given how much I liked this mask I will be checking out more of their products. In fact, whilst doing research for this review I got quite happily lost on their website; they have a wide range of masks, scrubs and other products which are also reasonably priced.
